SOLAR ROOFTOP PROJECTS

Patton has harnessed renewable energy by installing Solar Rooftop Projects across its plants for captive consumption. The solar rooftop at our Behala plant, West Bengal commissioned in January 2016 is our pilot project. As an eco-friendly organisation, our goal is to become more green energy efficient and reduce traditional electricity consumption.

  • Solar Rooftop Project installed at the Patton Behala Plant (January 2016)

  • 1 MW Solar Rooftop Project at the Patton Uluberia Plant (work in progress)

  • Reducing carbon footprint 536 tonnes in 4 years

  • Total units generated – 4,13,771

  • Reduced conventional power consumption & saves costs

SOLAR PARK

Patton recognises the importance of being ecologically-friendly and thus has adopted renewable energy options. We have unencumbered land in Rajasthan that is approved for Solar Park development and look forward to the following business opportunities:

  • JV/JD with a renowned partner to jointly install grid-connected Solar PV plants

  • Collaboration with companies interested in a PPA for purchasing power generated by us at our solar park plants

The key features of our solar park:

  • Size: 750 acres

  • Located at Raiwasa in the Sikar district of Rajasthan

  • Situated on the main Jaipur-Sikar Road at NH54 (Earlier NH 11)

  • Suitable for installing grid-connected Solar PV plants of 150MW capacity

  • Solar radiation (As per NASA DATA) is 21%

  • Grid connectivity (132 KVA) at RANAULI is available 10 km away from the site

  • The site is 4 km from the National Highway and well connected with pitch roads
